For yet another year, Daikin promoted inclusive sport in the XV edition of the Madrid Adapted Golf Open
The company was once again present in initiatives that promote support for people's health
Daikin was the main sponsor of this important event, positioned as one of the biggest tournaments in Europe
The initiative celebrated its fifteenth edition on September 3 and 4 and brought together almost a hundred players with different disabilities, with the aim of promoting inclusive sports and the integration of people with disabilities in the world of golf. Two competitions –feminine and masculine– brought together players of various nationalities and with different disabilities. In addition, it is a valid tournament for the WR4DG world ranking, the national ranking and the ranking of the International Association of Blind Players. Daikin, in its faithful commitment to solidarity, is committed to this and other social initiatives to support the message of active and healthy living and caring for people. About the Daikin Madrid Open
The Daikin Madrid Open brings together almost a hundred players with different disabilities: amputees, the blind, intellectuals, those with reduced mobility and those with degenerative diseases who make visible the capacity for integration and inclusion that golf entails in the sporting life of a multitude of golfers, without age and gender limit. The tournament had participants from 10 different nationalities, some of the best in Europe such as the young Rasmun Lot, the Valencian Antonio Llerena or the professional Manuel de Los Santos, and the recent British Open champion for the blind, Alejandro de Miguel, as well as players from Mexico, Chile, Ireland, United Kingdom, Turkey or Argentina among other nationalities.
