Kokedama Forest PHILADELPHIA
Kokedama Forest by Nomad Studio,
recognized with three awards at the
Philadelphia Flower Show
Kokedama Forest, a miniature sculptural
woodland made up of more than 1,200
kokedamas nested within an inverted
dome, has received three awards at the
PFS: the Gold Medal, The Governor’s Trophy
for the most innovative design and the
Special Achievement Award of the Garden
Club Federation of Pennsylvania.
This installation, that reflects upon the importance of the inhabitants of the soil and how their partnership with plants, will have a second life after its run in the show becoming a part of the collection at NorthPark Center in Dallas, Texas.
